Degree: Masters, PhD & Research

Scholarship Description: DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) in collaboration with PLAAS (Institute for Poverty, Land & Agrarian Studies) is offering in-country/in-region scholarships, as part of the Strengthening Capacities for Land Governance in Africa programme.

Eligibility:

A. Have successfully completed generally a three-year university degree (Master candidates) or a two-year university degree (doctoral candidates) with above average results (upper forth of class);
B. Clearly, show motivation and strong commitment;
C. Have thorough knowledge of the language of instruction;
D. Have completed their last university degree not more than 6 years ago at the time of application;
E. Must be nationals or permanent resident of an African Country;
F. Should generally be a) staff member of a public university, b) candidate considered for teaching or research staff recruitment, c) from the public sector

Benefits:  The scholarship covers tuition fees, research allowance, travel allowance, monthly stipend, and insurance.
