Scholarship Description: Institute for Cross-Disciplinary Physics and Complex Systems is delighted to offer IFISC (CSIC-UIB) Scholarships Mobility Grants for international students. The grants are aimed to those students who wish to pursue the Master in Physics of Complex Systems at the University of the Balearic Islands during the academic course 2017-2018.

Eligibility: CSIC offers JAE-INTRO grants (2000 €) open to those who have scored a minimum of 7.8/10 in the bachelor’s degree.

Benefits: The scholarship will amount a total of € 6,000 (six thousand euros), in two instalments: € 2,000 at the beginning of the first semester, after the student has actually enrolled in the master and € 4,000 at the beginning of the second semester. The scholarship is aimed at covering all or part of the costs of travel and living (including the cost of food and accommodation) detailed in the application of the selected students.

Application: Applications must be submitted electronically using the form available at the website ifisc.uib-csic.es/master/fellowships. To be considered for the scholarships, additionally, the applicant must have pre-enrolled to the master using the application form at www.uib.eu/study/master.
The following documentation must be attached:

a. The copy of ID card or passport.
b. Personal academic certificate, including the topics, covered and the grades obtained.
c. Curriculum Vitae.
d. A brief description of the interest in pursuing this Master and a justification of the need for the support of mobility costs.
e. Optionally, a list of professionals to whom the Selection Committee may, if necessary, request letters of recommendation.
